This year, Tamara Penniket was made a permanent full-time employee of the ABC as a camera operator and sound recordist – “the only female cameraman in the Press Gallery”. Tamara works predominately in news and current affairs in the Australia Press Gallery in Parliament House and in the ACT bureau.
