Make Your Property A Star
We are often asked how people can let filmmakers know that their home or other real estate is available for possible use as a film location. This information serves as a guideline on how you might have your property considered for use in a screen production.
Information About Your Property
Do you have a home, farm, shop or other real estate that you'd like us to know about? We welcome information about all kinds of property, because producers need all kinds of locations. When producers consider filming in New South Wales, their first stop is Screen NSW's digital locations database.
To add photos of your property to our digital locations database, you can upload medium resolution digital photos in JPEG format (no more than 500KB per photo) using the online registration form.
Once you have registerd your property you can post the photos of your property for our digital locations database, send us high-resolution digital photos in JPEG format (at least 4x6 at 300dpi) on a CD.
Send CD of Images to:

What To Expect
We will add your photos to our digital locations database, and if any further information is needed, we will let you know. We may show your photos (along with similar locations) to producers, but you will not be contacted unless a producer wants to visit or wants to send a location scout or location manager hired by the production company for a more detailed look at the property. Such a visit does not obligate either party; it's simply to see if the location will indeed work for that particular project. If your property is chosen, this person will likely be your contact during the duration of the shoot. Of course, we cannot promise that your property will generate interest from filmmakers, no matter how unusual it is.
