Most public locations including streets require a permit before filming can begin. A permit fee generally applies. Permits are usually granted by local Council, although the approval of the Police or Roads Authority may also be needed. The request process is usually routine, but make sure you allow sufficient time. The FTO can help you find the appropriate contacts for your project
