Sydney VR FIlm selected for Cannes Film Festival in May 2017

DREAM CHANNEL, a virtual reality film created, written and directed by Jonny Peters and produced by Brian Cobb, has been selected to screen at the Cannes Film Festival, France on May 18th.

A co-production between COBBSTAR PRODUCTIONS and DREAM CHANNEL VR, DREAM CHANNEL is the only Australian VR project, and one of just 15 in the world to formally present their film in the NEXT VR theatre in front of buyers and interested onlookers in this emerging medium.

Dream Channel is a narrative driven choose your own adventure virtual reality film about gangsters who buy and sell dreams on the black market. The film was entirely shot at Cobbstar Studios Paddington in October 2016, hiring 25 actors including Gemma Scoble, Bernie Van Tiel, Paul Layton, Anna Bauert, Patrick James and Johnny Brady.
