| Synopsis |
Omir is in Australia on a temporary protection visa when he is caught drinking a beer on a train, an infringement that puts him at risk of being sent back to detention. Already traumatised by his past experience, Omir goes underground, finding refuge in an isolated shack community on the NSW south coast. As Omir learns to swim, and falls for the young surfer Kayla, the threat of imprisonment fades. But will Omir really be able to escape his fate? |
