Holiday Break Program - Film Festivals and Workshops

PROGRAM OVERVIEW

The holiday break program provides the opportunity to fund regional film festivals and film making workshops for young people (aged 12-24) during school holidays. Potential programs include family-friendly screenings, filmmaking workshops and screen-based events.

Grants of up to $20,000 are available for applicants to deliver regional film festivals and screen-based workshops. 

The programs must comprise a partnership with at least one regionally based organisation and result in a public facing screening. 

KEY DATES

Applications open Wednesday 30 March, 9am AEST

Applications Close Wednesday 27 April, 5pm AEST.

Notification of successful applicants Monday 16 May.

Activities must take place during one / several of the following school holiday periods: 

Winter School Holidays (4 July–15 July 2022) 

Spring School Holidays (26 September–7 October 2022) 

Summer School Holidays (21 December 2022–26 January 2023) 

Autumn School Holidays (7 April–23 April 2023)
