Summary
Run by Screen Producers Australia, the SPA Practitioner Program is a 12-month initiative giving participants access to a suite of SPA industry programs and events. Screen NSW is seeking expressions of interest from mid-career producers to nominate to the 2024 program, commencing in January.
As part of the program, practitioners will:
- Receive one SCREEN FOREVER 38 accreditation for the conference being held 19-21 March 2024 on the Gold Coast, and the Online Global Market held 26-27 March 2024
- Receive either a full SPA or Associate membership depending on full producer credits
- Be eligible to have their entry fee waived for one nomination into an eligible category in the SPA Awards
- In addition to Business Essentials, mid-career practitioners will also have access to Business Essentials: Navigating Growth
- Have the opportunity to attend a Taking Your Scripted TV Project to Market short course.

Program objectives
The objectives of the program are to:
- Boost the development of screen content producers' careers through training and professional development opportunities
- Create and build community and networking opportunities within the industry over a targeted 12-month period.
